I .Thou Shalt See Beauty in All Things

Most of us believe that beauty is rare and the commonplace is not worth photographing. Nothing could be further from the truth. Everything possess some degree of beauty which can be captured in photographs. I do mean everything, including garbage!

How is this possible? It's quite simple! Beauty lies in the flow of lines, colors, textures, and forms; how they blend or how they contrast and create tension. All things have the elements of form. color, texture, or line. The photographer must use composition, lighting, and perspective to capture how these elements combine to create harmony or tension. Basically, you simply examine your subject in terms of these elements and look for combinations that are visually appealing. If you ignore the commonplace, you'll miss thousands of great shots.
